Ann Arbor · Main Studio + Piano Room
Record. Accompany.
Release.
Two rooms under one roof — a main live studio for tracking, and a dedicated piano room with twin Steinways (2020 B & 1927 L) for accompaniment, tone choice, and 4-/8-hands repertoire.
What we do
Four doors. Two rooms.
Whether you’re tracking in the main studio, working both Steinways in the piano room, restoring a family reel, or packaging a release — start here.

Record & Mix
Main live room for tracking, overdubs, and production — drums, amps, keys, and an engineer who listens.

Accompaniment
Dedicated piano room with a 2020 Steinway B and 1927 Steinway L — tone options, 4-/8-hands, rehearsals, auditions, and recorded takes.

Restoration
Audio restoration and media transfer — tapes to digital, cleanup, and archive rescue.

Label Services
Artwork, publishing, IP management, and contracts — release support without the promoter fluff.
The room
Photo-led. Spare chrome. Built to work.
KMS is a working live room in Ann Arbor — not a template studio with a storefront filter. Gear that earns its keep, light that sets a mood, and sessions that stay honest.
- Project-studio tracking for bands, soloists, and producers
- Steinway accompaniment for classical and academic work
- Technical services: mix, restore, transfer
- Label craft: packaging, publishing, IP, contracts
Meet Nash.
Nash is the studio dog — unofficial morale officer, occasional nap consultant, and the softest critique you’ll get between takes. If you hear paws in the hallway, you’re in the right place.
Friendly sessions welcome. Just ask if you prefer a quieter room — we read the room (and the dog).
Ready when you are.
